ProCigar Auction Items Announced

By Pierre Rogers February 19, 2016

February 28th the annual ProCigar auction kicks off with Michael Herklots of Nat Sherman and Manuel Quesada of Quesada hosting the event.

The auction is to benefit two different charities: Voluntariado Jesus con los Ninõs and Sociedad San Vincente de Paul. These couldn't be more noble causes, Voluntariado Jesus con los Niños a non-profit for helping children, with funds raised being used towards their burn unit, oncology department and the nutritional health unit. Hospice San Vincente de Paul an elderly care facility that services over 40 people in Santiago.

There are to be 13 lots available to the highest bidder, including three works of art and a few rare cigars pieces. Arturo Fuente donated four boxes of the “Don Arturo Gran AnniverXario Destino al Siglo”!

HFBarcelona offered up a large lot, including some of the companies' finest humidors and lighters.

Quesada is stepping up big with a special humidor filled with cigars from their Selection España and the Reserva Privada line; including a never released cigar, the España Ninfa. So rare!!

General Cigar Co. put up an interesting item, the “Rolling Table Desk Humidor" which contains 60 cigars in total from the Partagas and Macanudo lines.

Tabacalera Palma's item was a nod to their long history of superior cigar creation. Auctioning 80 cigars, one for each year they've been in business.

La Aurora went big, creating a custom humidor and filling it with nearly 100 La Aurora Preferido Diamond Editions.

La Flor Dominicana offers two items; one of which is 100 cigars rolled by the man himself Litto Gomez (I'm drooling!) The second is a collection of never before released cigars contained within a humidor titled “Humidor de Cigars Artistic”.

Last but certainly not least, is the special Davidoff ProCigar Trunk Humidor. This baby comes with boxes of all four Chinese Zodiac limited editions and the extremely rare Davidoff Oro Blanco. Bidding starts $7,500.00 and has me saying sorry kids, daddy may not be paying for an Ivy League college after all!
